We collect and store the following personal data:
We also receive aggregate, anonymous website-usage and performance reports. These include page paths, referral sources, broad location, browser and device categories, and Core Web Vitals. We do not receive a persistent visitor identity from these reports.
We do not collect passwords or payment information.
We use your data solely to:
We do not use subscription data for advertising or behavioural profiling. Anonymous usage reports are used only to operate and improve OneBench.
We process your email address on the basis of consent. You provide consent by completing our double opt-in subscription process — entering your email address and confirming via the link we send.
You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing. See the section below.
Where limited service telemetry constitutes personal data, we rely on our legitimate interests in understanding readership, maintaining security and improving the reliability and usability of OneBench. We minimise this processing, do not use it for advertising or individual profiling, and provide a browser-level objection below.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own purposes.
We use the following service providers who process data on our behalf:
All providers are GDPR-compliant. Supabase and Vercel operate infrastructure in the EU/UK or with appropriate safeguards.
We retain subscription records (including unsubscribed records) for up to 3 years for compliance and abuse-prevention purposes. Unsubscribed records are retained with an unsubscribed_at timestamp but are never used to send emails.
Vercel visitor identifiers reset daily and OneBench's current analytics reporting window is 30 days. First-party service events use daily-rotating anonymous values and are retained only for service measurement, security and aggregate reporting.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
To exercise any right, email us at privacy@onebench.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer. You can also unsubscribe at any time by visiting onebench.com/unsubscribe or emailing us directly.
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not use Google Analytics. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights provide aggregate reports without setting tracking cookies or creating a persistent cross-site profile.
OneBench also records a small number of first-party service events, such as a briefing view or subscription request. Raw IP addresses and full user-agent strings are not stored; the anonymous visitor value rotates daily. The only functional cookie we set is a session cookie for restricted access.
We use analytics solely to produce aggregate statistics and improve OneBench. Under the UK statistical-purposes exception, this does not require prior opt-in consent, but you may object at any time. Your choice is stored only in this browser.

Where a service provider processes information outside the UK, we require an appropriate transfer safeguard, such as an adequacy regulation or approved contractual clauses. OneBench does not use subscription or analytics data to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
